LOCAL MUSICIANS BAND TOGETHER
FOR BENEFIT CONCERT  May 6th

(San Antonio, FL)  The New Sand Mountain Wildcats, Hot Flash! and Devine & LaRoche will perform a benefit concert on Sunday, May 6 from 3 to 5:30pm at the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club in San Antonio at SR 52 and I-75.

      The three groups, who have been performing individually and together throughout Florida since 1977, will present an eclectic mix of old time, bluegrass and folk music. Performers include Dennis Devine, Rochelle Morris and Ernie Williams of San Antonio; Darryln Caudill, Robert Levine and Linda Fackeldey of Tampa; and Jan Milner of Brandon. Special guest emcees from WMNF Community Radio are Jim Strickland of Wesley Chapel, host of Mr. Ethnic's Old Time Music Show, and Jeannie Holton of Odessa, host of the Saturday Morning Folk Show.

      Proceeds will be donated to the Vermeer family of Dade City. Greg Vermeer, 53, was diagnosed last year with brain cancer. After initially successful treatments, the cancer has returned. He is now undergoing a clinical trial at Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. Greg works for the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. His wife, Kim, teaches first grade at Woodland Elementary School in Zephyrhills.

      Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $10. The event will also include a silent auction and bake sale. For information, contact coordinator Anne Arto of San Antonio at (352) 588-3453.

San Antonio Pottery Christmas Party and Sale
at San Antonio Pottery

December 16th, 2006 7PM - 10PM

Jack Boyle, Maggie Clark, and local artists will have artwork and pottery displayed, along with student work, at the annual Holiday Party and Sale. Unique Handmade gifts and music entertainmen will be provided. Live entertainment will be provided by Dennis  Devine and Valerie Fournier. Special guest, The Barking Dogs, made an appearance.
