The Rotary Club of San Antonio recently presented more than a dozen quilts to 6th Judicial Circuit Judge Lynn Tepper to give to children she meets in her courtroom. Judge Tepper presides over Family Court cases in East Pasco County where she oversees dependency, delinquency, and domestic violence cases The quilts, ranging from small baby quilts to full-size bed quilts, were made by Rotarian Betty Burke and a fellow quilter. Said Betty, "We enjoy making these quilts and wanted to give them to children who might need a little warm comforting. Some of the children Judge Tepper sees in her courtroom leave their homes with nothing of their own, so now they can wrap themselves in their own colorful quilts."
